Social Media – It’s Hot!
If you are online and are not involved in some form of Social Media, you are getting behind. Social Media allows interaction online with REAL people just like in the offline world. Of course, the face-to-face piece is missing but that’s changing with Video going full blast these days. There’s so much going on in the online world it’s hard to keep up. For starters, you can spend some time on the following sites to get your feet wet: Facebook (used a lot for friends and family but many people also do business networking on Facebook), LinkedIn (With millions of profiles on LinkedIn, yours needs to be one of them. It’s FREE and you can set up a solid profile in an hour or less), Twitter (140 Character Microblogging – It’s Hot! It’s Addictive! It can be time consuming!) and YouTube (You’ve probably watch plenty of YouTube videos by now. Getting into video is not as difficult as it used to be. A $99 Video Flip Camera with a removable SD Card makes video easier than you think.)
